Examinations at Sri Annai Rani School

Are an integral part of the academic process, designed to assess students' understanding and mastery of subjects. To maintain fairness and integrity, strict examination rules are enforced. These rules apply to all students across grades.

Examination Schedule

All examinations, including unit tests, mid-term exams, and final exams, will be conducted according to the official school calendar.

Students and parents will be informed of the exam schedule in advance, and any changes will be communicated promptly.

Attendance in Examinations

Compulsory Attendance: All students must attend scheduled examinations. Missing an exam without prior approval or valid reasons may result in a zero grade for the missed subject.

Medical Absence: In case of illness or other medical emergencies, students must submit a medical certificate from a recognized doctor. If the absence is justified, re-exams or alternative arrangements may be made at the discretion of the school.

Punctuality

Students must arrive at the exam hall at least 15 minutes before the scheduled exam time. Latecomers will not be allowed into the exam hall once the exam has started.

Any student arriving late due to a valid reason (e.g., transport delay) must seek special permission from the exam supervisor.

Exam Materials

Students must bring their own writing materials, including pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, and any subject-specific items such as calculators (where allowed).

Borrowing of materials during the exam is strictly prohibited.

Only authorized items (e.g., stationary, geometry box) are allowed inside the examination room. Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators (unless specified) are not permitted.

Conduct During Examinations

Students must maintain silence in the examination hall at all times. Any form of communication, verbal or non-verbal, will be treated as an attempt to cheat.

Students are expected to remain in their seats until the exam is completed. Leaving the hall during the exam is allowed only with the supervisor's permission, and for valid reasons (e.g., emergencies).

Students must keep their answer sheets visible to invigilators at all times and ensure that their answers are clearly written and easy to read.
